- My dad bought a PCI P5-100 computer system at a computer trade show.
- I have no information on the company, but they gave him some
- documentation that doesn't match the modem that came in the system. I
- am desperately looking for someone who might have the same one and
- could maybe send jumper setting information via email.
-
- The internal v.34 voice modem (that's was Dad was told) has no brand
- name printed on it, but it does have what appears to be a model number
- printed on a sticker that reads as follows:
-
- MDMVVGEN288
-
- I suspect this is one of those "generic" modems. You know, the kind
- where the manufacturer is too embarassed to print their name on any of
- the documentation.
-
- As I said, we are desperate in our search. We'd appreciate anyone
- helping us out here as soon as possible.
-
- TIA
